GPDR / Personal Data

We handle your personal information with care and in accordance with the new EU legislation “General Data Protection Regulation”, GDPR. This legislation places new and higher demands on how we protect your personal privacy and also replaces the Personal Data Act (PUL). In accordance with this, we have updated our terms and conditions and also improved our security to meet all requirements under GDPR.

Westmans Uthyrningsservice AB with organization number 556319-5758 is responsible for how the lessee’s personal data is handled in the company’s register. Personal/company information is stored in the customer register in order to simplify the Lessor’s assignment to the customer, and in order to simplify future orders. Such information may include telephone number, address, e-mail and other contact details. The information is also stored in order to be able to claim compensation for the service provided.
To manage newsletters, bookings, event registrations, competitions and our marketing, we process the personal data necessary for the purpose, such as name, address, e-mail address and telephone number.

We also use the data to analyze, develop and improve our business and marketing. This may include using your email address in encrypted form to create audiences with our digital advertising providers (e.g. Meta and Google) in order to display more relevant ads about our services.

Westmans Uthyrningsservice AB is the data controller. We do not sell your personal data. Data is only shared with trusted suppliers who process it on our behalf under data processing agreements (e.g. IT suppliers, payment services and advertising platforms) and only for the purposes stated above.

You have the right to contact us for information on what personal data we process, to request rectification and to object to processing for marketing purposes.

Tenants have the right to request an extract from the register in order to check what data is registered. The tenant also has the right to be removed from the system if desired, provided that the data does not need to be stored by law.

The lessor is obliged to correct information that is incorrect or incomplete.

Independent Progress AB provides development, operation and storage of the data stored in the Possum order system.
