When do I need to order to ensure I get what I want?
Normal assortment during the low season is no problem. Then we can solve most things with a week’s notice. Certain odd items that we do not have a large stock of may run out. During May-June, Aug-Sep and December there is high demand, which requires advance notice.
How long can I rent? When can I pick it up?
A rental applies for three days but for one occasion, delivery day, day of use and return day. If the rental applies to a Friday or Saturday, the rented goods are picked up/delivered on Thursday or Friday and returned on Monday, see our opening hours here. Longer rental periods are quoted.
Can I change the order?
Yes, changes can be made up to one week before the delivery date. Any additions can be made up to three days before, but we cannot guarantee that items will be available.
What is the latest I can cancel?
Cancellation of orders with a value exceeding 100,000 SEK/excluding VAT will be charged in full regardless of the booking date (materials are charged, but not services such as transport, furnishings, etc.). Orders with a value of 10,000 SEK to 100,000 SEK/excluding VAT can be canceled up to 30 days before the delivery date (materials are charged, but not services such as transport, furnishings, etc.). Orders with a value below 10,000 SEK excluding VAT can be canceled up to 7 days before delivery (materials are charged, but not services such as transport, furnishings, etc.). However, tent bookings must be made at least four weeks in advance. All cancellations must be sent to our email info@westmans.se and be confirmed in writing by us to be valid as a cancellation.
Is dishwashing and laundry included?
Dishwashing is included for glasses, cutlery and porcelain, however, glasses must be emptied and food residue on porcelain scraped off. Normal washing of linen and furniture is also included in the rental price. It is important that the linen is not packed down wet/damp upon return.
Can the rented goods be delivered?
Yes, we can deliver and pick up the rented goods for an extra charge, see our transport costs here.
Prices?
All our prices are presented excluding VAT, which is added at 25%. The prices on the website are based on the rental taking place within a normal rental period (three working days: one delivery day, one day of use, one return day). If the rental takes place over a longer period, the rental rate will be higher. If transport is desired, there will be an additional cost for this, see price list here.
What happens if something breaks or is missing?
Orders are checked before and after use. Missing or broken goods are charged at the purchase price plus 25% to cover handling and transport.
Is the rented equipment insured?
The renter is responsible for the rented goods during the rental period (from pick-up to return). In cases where we handle the delivery, we are responsible for the rented goods during transport. Normally, a regular home insurance or business insurance can cover the rented goods. For larger events, extra insurance may be needed and the renter is responsible for this.

How do I pay?
Payment is made upon collection by card or cash. Payment can, after special agreement and customary credit check, be made against invoice 10 days net. Invoicing fee with 45 SEK will be added.
How to book
To rent or request a quote for renting our products, do so in our shop. So you should not use our contact forms or email us directly for your rental requests.
Here’s how to do it:
- go to the “Rent” page in the menu bar or click on a category box on the home page
- select the product(s) you intend to rent
- select the number and when you are done…
- go to “Shopping Cart” at the top of the menu bar and check that everything is correct. You can change the number here if you wish.
- click on “Continue” and fill in all the required information and approve our terms.
You will see on the screen that your request has gone through and will soon receive a confirmation that we have received your request to the email address you provided.
When our order recipients have reviewed your request/quote request, you will receive a confirmation of your request or quote shortly and during office hours.
